ReadyKern said the “Lost Fire” has become a threat to residents southwest of Lost Hills.<\/p>\n

People who live in Genasys Protect Zones KRN-219B and KRN-209B are ordered to evacuate immediately. <\/p>\n

“There is an imminent threat to life. This is a lawful order to leave now. The area is lawfully closed to public access. Visibility in area will be reduced and roads may become blocked; if you do not leave now, you could be trapped, injured, or killed,” said officials.<\/p>\n

Firefighters are battling a vegetation fire Thursday in the Lost Hills area after it started northwest of Lost Hills and Lokern roads, Kern County Fire officials said.<\/p>\n

The “Lost Fire” has burned 682 acres so far, according to officials. Kern County Fire and Cal Fire are handling the incident. No containment estimate was available.<\/p>\n

Cal Fire said the fire started just after 3 a.m. Thursday.<\/a><\/p>\n
