(WFIE) &#8211; Gibson County Sheriff\u2019s Office officials say a man is in jail after hitting multiple parked cars while intoxicated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to a press release, authorities were dispatched to the 400 block of East Cherry Street in Oakland City after receiving a 911 report of an accident with injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officials say the reporter told dispatch that someone driving an SUV had hit multiple parked vehicles and appeared intoxicated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Upon arriving on scene, they found the SUV sideways in the roadway and three other damaged vehicles nearby.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The driver, later identified as Spencer Cannon of Winslow, showed signs of intoxication.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">After a roadside investigation, Cannon was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Detention Center where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Spencer Cannon\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/RRVB6O6X6JCTHJKJ7KC3JZU734.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"554\" \/>Spencer Cannon(Gibson County Sheriff&#8217;s Office)<a class=\"link | text-reset d-block h-100 w-100\" href=\"https:\/\/www.14news.com\/page\/14-news-streaming-apps\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_self\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"wfie apps\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/1781884415_602_3ABJKZTA4RCT5CI42747VCTX3M.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"230\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WFIE.
