A PEDESTRIAN has fatally injured in a hit-and-run incident (Shutterstock).<\/p>\n

A pedestrian was fatally injured when struck by two vehicles on Sunday, June 14. in Westminster.<\/p>\n

According to Commander William Drinnin of the WPD, the incident took place in he area of 9200 Bolsa Avenue, between Magnolia and Bushard streets.<\/p>\n

Police received a call about the collision at around 9:37 p.m. Upon arrival, no life-saving measures were administered because of the severity of the injuries. Orange County Fire Authority later pronounced the pedestrian deceased.<\/p>\n

In the investigation that followed, it was determined that the pedestrian was struck by two vehicles, both of which fled the scene.<\/p>\n

The identity of the deceased is withheld pending notification of the next of kin.<\/p>\n

The WPD Traffic Division\u2019s investigation revealed that one of the drivers was located in the City of Anaheim. Driving under the influence doesn\u2019t appear to be a factor.<\/p>\n

The other vehicle that fled the scene was not located and is described as a newer blue or black Toyota Rav 4, last seen eastbound on Bolsa Avenue from the scene.<\/p>\n
