Rather than just one location, there will be three areas at the street fair that offer family-friendly fun, including an area for toddlers, and seven interactive activities such as inflatable obstacle courses, courtesy of <a href=\"https:\/\/emsattractions.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">EMS Attractions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Parents can take their young ones to three spots along Newport Avenue: The parking lots adjacent to Target (4864 Newport Ave.), Wings Army (4992 Newport Ave.), and a fun zone just for toddlers at the Ocean Beach Tire Center and Auto Repair (4893 Newport Ave.). <\/p>\n<p>The Fun Zone entrances will be marked by large, colorful A-frame balloon displays.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year we\u2019re trying to be all in for the younger crowd at the street fair, rather than have the area be an offshoot on the side,\u201d said EMS general manager Shawn Walker.<\/p>\n<p>While the areas are primarily for children, there are plenty of amenities for parents, including tables and chairs for relaxing and lots of food options suitable for younger, more picky palettes. <\/p>\n<p>Tickets for the inflatables are $20 for 30 minutes, or $30 for one hour.<\/p>\n<p>New this year is a Family Adventure passport. <\/p>\n<p>The free activity allows children to have their \u201cpassport\u201d stamped at five locations, then return the completed page to the street fair\u2019s information booth on Newport Avenue for a prize.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe kids run around, and they go get their passports stamped at all three parking lots,\u201d said Kristen Keltner, OBMA Events Manager. \u201cYou collect the stamps, and you can get a prize, these cute little stuffed animal parrots or stickers. So, that\u2019s really the fun thing we added this year to get people to move around a little bit more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, sports fans of all ages will have a chance to meet San Diego Gulls mascot, Gulliver, as well as have the opportunity to play the Hockey Shot game. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, The Rad Hatter will be offering their creative head coverings at the OB Tire Center.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s three Family Fun Zone areas will be great spots for youngsters to let off a little steam during their time at the OB Street Fair. \u201cWe do a lot of street fairs and events, and this is our favorite. It really feels authentic; the people are happy. It\u2019s reflective of the area\u2019s culture.
