A new dessert shop<\/a> with an Italian-style gelato bar opened in June in midtown Sacramento.<\/p>\n Pistachio & Cream opened its doors at 801 L St. on June 12, joining a robust business district packed with popular restaurants.<\/p>\n From coffee drinks to Belgian waffle bowls, the business sells a wide selection of Italian desserts<\/a>, including sugar-free and dairy-free options.<\/p>\n \u201cA little dream is turning into something real,\u201d Pistachio & Cream representatives wrote in a May 30 social media post. \u201cSo excited to finally share this journey with you all.\u201d<\/p>\n Here\u2019s what to know:<\/p>\n What\u2019s on the menu at new Sacramento dessert shop?<\/p>\n Pistachio & Cream serves 12 flavors of gelato.<\/p>\n Customers can order the shop\u2019s namesake pistachio gelato, or venture out and try other flavors including stracciatella, tiramisu, biscoff, nutella and classic cream.<\/p>\n Desserts at Pistachio & Cream feature pistachio nuts straight from the \u201cvolcanic slopes of Bronte, Siciliy,\u201d the business said on its website.<\/p>\n \u201cWe roast it gently, grind it into a rich green paste, and fold it into gelato, coffee and desserts<\/a> made fresh every day,\u201d Pistachio & Cream said.<\/p>\n Are there coffee drinks?<\/p>\n Pistachio & Cream\u2019s menu<\/a> includes a variety of coffee drinks, including an americano, cortado, flat wide and a standard iced coffee.<\/p>\n For those looking for more unique drinks, the dessert shop also serves a signature pistachio latte and affogato.<\/p>\n \u201cEverything made in house, served fresh at our midtown caf\u00e9,\u201d the business said.<\/p>\n When are open hours at Pistachio & Cream?<\/p>\n Pistachio & Cream is open 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, 6:30 a.m. to midnight Tuesday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, according to its website.<\/p>\n Related Stories from Sacramento Bee<\/p>\n
