(KFSN) &#8212; An investigation is underway after police say a stabbing victim was found on the Sunnyside High School campus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police were called to a campus parking lot on Peach and Kings Canyon just after 6 am Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Authorities arrived and found a teenager with a stab wound to the chest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">He was rushed into surgery at Community Regional Medical Center and police say he is expected to survive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">While the victim was found on campus, police do not believe the stabbing happened at that location.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Authorities added that the victim is not being cooperative with the investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Fresno Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KFSN-TV.
