\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a><\/p>\nThere’s a big temperature change coming to Northern California in just a couple of days. <\/p>\n
Thursday will be pleasantly warm thanks to the delta breeze. Stronger winds will develop on Friday as a strong area of low pressure moves by to the north. <\/p>\n
That weather system will bring much cooler air to the region by Saturday. Valley highs will stay int he upper 70s to low 80s. It will feel like fall in the Sierra with Tahoe area high temperatures in the low 60s and scattered showers.<\/p>\n
Next week will be dry and seasonably warm again but there is no sign of intense heat for at least another week.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tThursday Forecast<\/p>\n
Thursday day be comfortably cool in the morning and pleasantly warm in the afternoon. A delta breeze will pick up after 5pm and linger through the night. <\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tBig cool-down this weekend<\/p>\n
Temperatures will drop off as a strong area of low pressure moves by to the north Friday and Saturday. <\/p>\n
Valley wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph are in the forecast for Friday afternoon. <\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tLake Wind Adviosry<\/p>\n
Boaters beware: strong winds will make for choppy waters on mountain lakes on Friday. <\/p>\n
Gusts of 40 mph are expected around Lake Tahoe. There will still be a breeze Saturday, but gusts will be less intense.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tFall-like Tahoe weather<\/p>\n
It may seem hard to believe for those that live int eh Valley, but it’s going to feel like fall this weekend in the Sierra. High temperatures will struggle into the 60s on Saturday! There is a slight chance for some showers later Saturday, mainly north of I-80.<\/p>\n

It’s going to be a cool weekend in the mountains. Foothills temperatures will be milder and winds will be lighter by comparison. <\/p>\n
