(KFSN) &#8212; One person is in the hospital, and others are ill due to a hazardous materials incident in central Fresno.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">It was first reported just before 11 am at the Fresno Housing Authority apartment complex on Blackstone at Illinois Avenue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Fire officials say there were reports of an odd smell coming from the building.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Crews arrived and found two people vomiting and not feeling well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">One of them was taken to the hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The hazmat team was called out, and four units had to be evacuated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">Officials believe fentanyl or other drugs could be a factor.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KFSN-TV.
