{"id":374963,"date":"2026-06-25T22:10:12","date_gmt":"2026-06-25T22:10:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/374963\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T22:10:12","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T22:10:12","slug":"sacramento-fire-hacked-with-fake-terror-attack-post-on-x","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/374963\/","title":{"rendered":"Sacramento Fire hacked with fake terror attack post on X"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sacramento Fire Department officials confirmed Thursday that the agency\u2019s X account was hacked after a false post claiming a terror attack at Levi\u2019s Stadium appeared on its page for several seconds.<\/p>\n<p>The <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SacFirePIO\">message posted to the Fire Department\u2019s @SacFirePIO<\/a> account published at 11:36 a.m. claimed that a \u201cmass casualty incident\u201d had occurred near Levi\u2019s Stadium. Justin Sylvia, a spokesperson for the Fire Department, confirmed that the agency\u2019s X account had been hacked and that the report was a hoax.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the second time it\u2019s happened to us in two months,\u201d Sylvia said Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Sylvia said the department tried to remove the post almost immediately, but it had already disappeared.
