MAKE Projects has been doing quiet, steady work since 2017, providing job training and farm-to-table dining experiences for refugee and immigrant women across the city.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/MAKE-Cafe-San-Diego-1.jpg\" alt=\"MAKE Cafe San Diego\" class=\"wp-image-88441\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>A Mission With a Menu<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since launching, nearly 400 women from more than 30 countries have come through their workforce development programs. Her ingredient-driven approach is a natural fit for a space rooted in local farming and community connection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Expect a globally inspired daytime menu with seasonal dishes, fresh produce, and flavors reflecting the diverse communities that call San Diego home.<\/p>\n<p>Free, Fun, and Open to All<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The grand opening is free and open to everyone. Cold Cuts Vinyl Deli will be on the decks, with complimentary bites and sips, family-friendly garden activities, and a farmstand to browse.
