(FOX26) \u2014 Two residents were displaced after an arson fire destroyed a vacant home in Fresno on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<p>The Fresno Fire Department says after receiving multiple reports of a house fire, Fresno firefighters responded to the 2300 block of South Lily Avenue on Wednesday around 8:20 PM.<\/p>\n<p>When firefighters arrived, they found a vacant home, under construction from a previous fire, fully engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n<p>[RELATED] <a href=\"https:\/\/kmph.com\/news\/local\/five-displaced-after-massive-fresno-two-story-house-fire-detroyed-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Five displaced after two-story house fire in Fresno<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The fire had already spread to a neighboring home when crews arrived.<\/p>\n<p>Crews immediately began attacking the fire while also preventing the flames from spreading further to the neighboring home.<\/p>\n<p>Overhead power lines fell onto a metal chain-link fence, creating an additional hazard.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters say PG&amp;E crews were able to de-energize the lines.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 30 firefighters arrived, including crews from Fresno County Fire.<\/p>\n<p>The vacant home was deemed a total loss.<\/p>\n<p>The neighboring homes sustained minor damage, temporarily displacing two residents.<\/p>\n<p>No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<p>Fresno Fire officials say the fire was intentionally set and are investigating it as arson.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"FRESNO, Calif.
