(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community\u2019s help in identifying a man accused of breaking into a business on California Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>Police said it happened on Sunday, May 31st, 2026, at a business in the 4900 block of California Avenue, near Mohawk Street.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect is described as a man, wearing a green hat, black t-shirt, black sweatpants, teal shoes, a black backpack.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"PHOTO: BPD\" class=\"ImageEmbed_image__qZBo_\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/36f4536e-9f63-432f-9bee-6cf75deb4320-UntitledAugust202025at10.44.419.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p>He had a black mountain bike and was carrying a clear trash bag with cans.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Detective R.
