(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 An early-morning house fire on Monday led to the death of an 83-year-old woman, according to the Kern County coroner.<\/p>\n<p>Charlene Elaine Costello, 83, of Bakersfield, died in the 900 block of James Road, just north of Petrol Road. The coroner said she was pronounced dead at 2 a.m. Monday, June 22.<\/p>\n<p>The fire reportedly began around 1:20 a.m. The coroner did not provide a cause of the fire at this time.<\/p>\n<p>An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death.<\/p>\n<p>The Kern County Fire Department investigated the incident.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
