Since World War II, only Patrik Laine, Auston Matthews, and Paul Kariya have averaged a point per game as a D+0 at Worlds.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sanjosehockeynow.com\/san-jose-sharks-keegan-mcnally-top-64-mckenna-stenberg-reid-2026-draft-rankings\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Keegan McNally<\/a> says: \u201cHis best asset is his ability to continually move the puck into better positions. If you distill Stenberg\u2019s success down to a single thing, it\u2019s that. He\u2019s constantly looking for the next play to move the puck into a higher danger area than it currently is. If he\u2019s got the puck in the highest danger area, he\u2019s shooting, and he\u2019s got a hell of a shot to go with an impressive playmaking toolkit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An NHL scout told San Jose Hockey Now, \u201cHe can be a hard-skill first-liner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eliteprospects.com\/nhl-draft-guide\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elite Prospects<\/a> says, \u201cIncredibly gifted offensive creator with elite skill and matching offensive sense, but also a robust two-way game \u2013 a future top-line NHL winger, potentially as soon as next season.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BUFFALO \u2014 The San Jose Sharks have selected Ivar Stenberg with the No. 2 pick.
