(KFSN) &#8212; A bank robbery suspect wanted in another city was taken into custody late Friday night after a police pursuit ended in a crash in east central Fresno, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">According to police, officers spotted the suspect near Golden State Boulevard and Highway 99 around 10 p.m. and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The driver refused to pull over, prompting a brief pursuit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">For public safety reasons, officers discontinued the ground chase. However, a police helicopter continued tracking the suspect from the air.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Investigators said the suspect later crashed into another vehicle near Mckinley and Peach Avenues. Officers responded to the scene and arrested the suspect without further incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police said no civilians were injured in the crash.
