{"id":37809,"date":"2025-11-04T17:48:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T17:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/37809\/"},"modified":"2025-11-04T17:48:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T17:48:08","slug":"small-plane-crashes-during-attempted-takeoff-from-calaveras-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/37809\/","title":{"rendered":"Small plane crashes during attempted takeoff from Calaveras Airport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two people were hurt after a small plane crashed during takeoff from the Calaveras Airport in San Andreas on Monday. <\/p>\n<p>The Calaveras County Sheriff&#8217;s Office says the crash happened a little before 1 p.m. <\/p>\n<p>Officials say the single-engine plane was trying to take off when, for an unknown reason, it went off the side of the runway. <\/p>\n<p>Off the runway, officials say the plane hit some large rocks \u2013 causing the aircraft to flip over. <\/p>\n<p>Two people were inside the plane, the pilot and a passenger.
