SUNRISE, Fla.\u00a0– Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations and General Manager\u00a0Bill Zito\u00a0announced today that the club has\u00a0acquired\u00a0the rights to\u00a0defenseman\u00a0Radko Gudas\u00a0from the\u00a0Anaheim Ducks in exchange for\u00a0the rights to forward\u00a0A.J. Greer.<\/p>\n
Gudas,\u00a036, appeared in 56 games with Anaheim in 2025-26, posting 13 points (2-11-13)\u00a0and pacing all Ducks defensemen with 164 hits.\u00a0He served as the Anaheim Ducks\u00a0captain\u00a0from\u00a02024-25 to 2025-26.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 6-foot, 208-pound native of Prague, Czechia\u00a0has competed in\u00a0885 NHL games\u00a0with the Tampa Bay\u00a0Lightning,\u00a0Philadelphia Flyers, Washington\u00a0Capitals, Florida\u00a0Panthers\u00a0and Ducks.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Gudas competed\u00a0in\u00a037\u00a0postseason games as a\u00a0member of the Panthers\u00a0recording\u00a0seven\u00a0points\u00a0(1-6-7)\u00a0helping the\u00a0Panthers reach the Stanley\u00a0Cup\u00a0Final\u00a0in 2023, the club\u2019s first appearance since 1996.\u00a0<\/p>\n
