THREE DECISIONS HAVE NOW BEEN HANDED DOWN THIS MORNING. THE MOST RECENT ONE, THE SUPREME COURT, UPHOLDING A BROAD CITIZENSHIP, REJECTING PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP\u2019S EXECUTIVE ORDER, DECLARING THE KIDS BORN TO PEOPLE IN THE U.S. ILLEGALLY OR TEMPORARILY ARE NOT AMERICAN CITIZENS. ALSO, THE SUPREME COURT HAS ERASED LIMITS ON HOW MUCH POLITICAL PARTIES CAN SPEND, ALL IN COORDINATION WITH CANDIDATES FOR CONGRESS AND PRESIDENT STRIKING DOWN A FEDERAL ELECTION LAW THAT\u2019S MORE THAN 50 YEARS OLD. AND THEN ANOTHER BLOW FOR LGBTQ RIGHTS. THE COURT JUST UPHELD STATE LAWS BANNING TRANSGENDER GIRLS AND WOMEN FROM PLAYING ON SCHOOL TEAMS. THE JUSTICES WERE DIVIDED 6 TO 3 ON THAT ONE. THEY RULED THAT STATE BANS IN IDAHO AND WEST VIRGINIA DO NOT VIOLATE THE CONSTITUTION OR THE FEDERAL LAW KNOWN AS TITLE NINE, AND IT PROHIBITS SEX DISCRIMINATION IN EDUCATION. THE RULING IS LIKELY TO AFFECT 25 OTHER STATES WITH SIMILAR BANS.
