RGP\u2014a global professional services firm that recently relocated its headquarters from Irvine, California, to Dallas\u2014has appointed Roger Carlile, a board member since June 2024, to serve as its new president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. <\/p>\n

RGP (Nasdaq: RGP) said that Kate Duchene has transitioned from the role of president, CEO, and board member to executive advisor through Jan. 3 to assist the company and Carlile with continuity of leadership.<\/p>\n

Chairperson A. Robert Pisano said Carlile \u201chas been working with the company on our growth strategy with focus on CFO advisory and digital transformation consulting solutions since he joined the board.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe brings a strong combination of skills, as both a former CFO of a publicly registered consulting firm and the founder and former CEO of a high-growth consulting firm, and has proven expertise in professional services management, investor engagement and capital allocation strategies,\u201d Pisano added in a statement. \u201cWe\u2019re confident Roger is the right person to succeed Kate as CEO to deliver the value of RGP\u2019s strategic business model.\u201d<\/p>\n

Entrepreneurial and financial expertise<\/p>\n

Carlile has served on the company\u2019s board since June 2024 and has served as the compensation committee chair since August.<\/p>\n

He founded global business advisory Ankura Consulting Group LLC in 2014, serving as CEO and board chair for five and six years, respectively.<\/p>\n

Before founding Ankura, Carlile spent more than a decade at FTI Consulting Inc., a global business advisory firm, where he held several leadership roles including chief financial officer, chief administrative officer, and chief human resources officer, as well as global leader of FTI Consulting\u2019s forensic and litigation consulting and technology segments.<\/p>\n

Previously, he was the global and Americas Leader of KPMG LLP\u2019s forensic services practice and held positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC and Deloitte & Touche LLP.<\/p>\n
