OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A Farmington Hills is accused of violently murdering his grandmother.<\/p>\n
The 34-year-old, Zeff Nikollbibaj, has been charged with first-degree murder and felony firearm.<\/p>\n
According to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office, the man allegedly killed his grandmother, 78-year-old Ana Nikollbibaj, by shooting her in the head and bludgeoning her with a metal pry bar.<\/p>\n
The OCPO released these details:<\/p>\n
Police found the victim unconscious on her bedroom floor, suffering from severe head trauma and lacerations. A spent firearm shell was found near her body. She was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. A bullet was later recovered during the medical examination.<\/p>\n
The man would spend life in prison if found guilty.<\/p>\n
\u201cAna Nikollbibaj\u2019s murder is especially shocking because the alleged killer is her grandson,\u201d said Prosecutor Karen McDonald. \u201cSadly, this is a reminder that domestic violence takes many forms.
