The proposal would add an estimated 140 units to a large corner parcel in the Natomas Parks neighborhood on the northern outskirts of the capital city. <a href=\"https:\/\/sfyimby.com\/category\/eah-housing\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">EAH Housing<\/a> is responsible for the application.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sfyimby.com\/category\/lpas-architecture-design\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">LPAS Architects<\/a> is responsible for the design, though proper renderings have yet to be shared. According to the project website, the development team plans to \u201csolicit input from the current neighboring residents, community-based organizations, businesses, and schools to design the space for these types of uses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Conceptual illustrations show four three-story apartment buildings and a 3,700-square-foot community building surrounded by surface parking, a playground, and landscaping. The development will provide housing for families, seniors, and people with disabilities. Roughly a quarter of all apartments will be designed for accessibility. Future residents will live in the heart of the neighborhood, across from a preschool, fire station, shopping center, and other apartments.
