Beverly Hills Adds Five New Sculptures to Community Parks<\/p>\n

Beverly Hills, MI \u2013 Beverly Hills continues the tradition of embracing public art and supporting local artists with their\u00a0Sculptures in the Parks program.<\/p>\n

The program started in 2022. The idea was proposed by Janice Hausman, a member of the Beverly Hills Parks & Recreation Board, and enthusiastically supported by the Village Council. This year the city had a record number of entries.<\/p>\n

Among the pieces is \u201cAir Bee N Bee,\u201d which is a sculpture, a shelter for bees, and an educational tool created by Justin LaDoux. According to the city\u2019s website, \u201cThrough this sculpture, La Doux aims to raise awareness about the crucial role these creatures play while providing them with a safe haven.\u201d La Doux enjoys making \u201d sculptures using various materials to explore the relationships between humanity, nature, and the environment.\u201d<\/p>\n
