(KFSN) &#8212; Residents in two apartments are displaced after a fire in northeast Fresno early Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">It broke out at the North Park Apartments across from Fresno State on Shaw and Backer just after 12:30 am.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Crews say the fire started in the bottom-floor apartment and spread to the second floor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">They were able to contain the fire to the first-floor apartment, with little damage to the second-floor apartment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Firefighters say their biggest challenge was working around the wrought-iron fence along Shaw Avenue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">No one was hurt. Residents were able to get out safely.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">No word on how many residents were displaced.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Those living in the two affected apartments are being helped, while the other residents in the connecting apartments were able to return.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">The cause is under investigation.<br class=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KFSN-TV.
