LOS ANGELES (AP) \u2014 Shohei Ohtani<\/a> and the rest of the Los Angeles Dodgers celebrated their second straight World Series championship<\/a> with a downtown parade<\/a> and stadium rally Monday after becoming the first team in 25 years to win back-to-back titles.<\/p>\n

\u201cHello, hello,\u201d Ohtani said, speaking in English at a sold out Dodger Stadium. \u201cI want to say I\u2019m so proud of this team. I want to say you guys are the greatest fans in the world. I\u2019m ready to get another ring next year. Let\u2019s go.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ohtani was accompanied by his wife, Mamiko Tanaka<\/a>, who took a photo of him along the parade route. Last year, Ohtani carried his dog, Decoy, in his arms on the bus.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really nice to be able to win the game, and to be surrounded by all these amazing fans,\u201d Ohtani said during the bus ride. \u201cI\u2019m really taking it in and enjoying it.\u201d<\/p>\n

World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto<\/a> wore a black T-shirt with World Series champions on the front. Wearing sunglasses and a backward baseball cap, Yamamoto waved to fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cLosing isn\u2019t an option,\u201d Yamamoto told the stadium crowd in English. \u201cTo my teammates, my coaches, amazing staff and all the fans, we did it together. I love the Dodgers. I love Los Angeles.\u201d<\/p>\n

The team\u2019s third Japanese player, rookie pitcher Roki Sasaki, celebrated his 24th birthday Monday.<\/p>\n

Players walked a blue carpet from center field to a circular blue stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat they talking about in Toronto right now?\u201d actor-comedian Anthony Anderson asked the crowd. \u201cThey\u2019re talkin\u2019 about nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n

A woman in the crowd wore a blue T-shirt reading \u201cLet\u2019s ruin baseball.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI got four. Fill the hand all the way up, baby,\u201d said Mookie Betts, who won a title with the Boston Red Sox and three with the Dodgers. \u201cThree-peat has never sounded so sweet. Somebody make that a T-shirt.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rapper-actor Ice Cube drove a bright blue convertible around the warning track with the Commissioner\u2019s Trophy in the front passenger seat. He carried it overhead to the stage and set it on a table next to a table with last year\u2019s championship hardware.<\/p>\n

Kik\u00e9 Hern\u00e1ndez apologized in advance for his expletive-filled comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy teammates have been pretty humble, but I think it\u2019s time to talk that s\u2014-,\u201d he said. \u201cEverybody\u2019s been asking questions about a dynasty. How about three in six years? We\u2019re a motherf\u2014\u2014in\u2019 dynasty, baby.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier, manager Dave Roberts hoisted the trophy while aboard one of several buses that traversed a route packed with cheering, flag-waving blue-clad fans. \u201cB 2 B\u201d read one of many hand-lettered signs held up.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like it\u2019s almost double from last year,\u201d Freddie Freeman said. \u201cThese fans are crazy. It\u2019s so awesome to be a part of this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blue-and-white confetti blew from a truck rolling between the buses, which were filled with family members of the players, including newly retired Clayton Kershaw<\/a> and his four children.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the perfect way to be done,\u201d said Kershaw, who ended an 18-year career played entirely with Los Angeles. \u201cI know the Dodgers have always meant a lot to this city for generations. For us to get to do this in front of them, it means the world to me and all the rest of the guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pitcher Blake Snell made the 6-7 gesture<\/a> with his hands, signifying the Dodgers\u2019 wins over the Toronto Blue Jays in Games 6 and 7.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is lit,\u201d Snell said. \u201cI love it.\u201d<\/p>\n

A bare-chested Hern\u00e1ndez filmed the throngs with a hand-held camera.<\/p>\n

\u201cWinners win,\u201d he said. \u201cI hope these Dodger fans have a lot of fun because they deserve this. They showed up all year long, they supported us and here we are back-to-back champs.\u201d<\/p>\n
