Your act has grown stale, if not cringey<\/a>.<\/p>\n After a series of unhinged social media posts, San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk needs to get some help. Getty Images<\/p>\n Whatever salient message you\u2019ve tried to deliver through a series of social media posts<\/a> has been lost in the creepiness of it all.<\/p>\n That includes Tuesday\u2019s post in which you insist you will not take the necessary steps to seek reinstatement from the 49ers. Whatever lifeboat he and the Commanders were willing to give you got snatched right back.<\/p>\n And rightfully so.<\/p>\n If that is how quickly you turn on your friends and go public with your misgivings, why would they or anyone else want you anywhere near their locker room? Nobody wants that kind of bad energy in their building.<\/p>\n We\u2019d ask what you\u2019re thinking, but clearly you\u2019ve lost all reason and common sense while flinging yourself into a self-destructive world of victimhood and self-pity.<\/p>\n In which everyone is the enemy. Everyone has it out for you. And everyone is to blame for your predicament.<\/p>\n There\u2019s no doubting Aiyuk\u2019s production, which included a 2023 season where he finished with 75 catches for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns. Getty Images<\/p>\n Like your agent, who you fired last year when things began falling apart with the 49ers. But it was you, not your agent, that forced the 49ers\u2019 hand and led them to void the remaining guaranteed money in your contract.<\/p>\n It was you who didn\u2019t participate in rehab sessions for the knee injury you suffered in 2024. That was your decision to make, and your mistake to own. What did you think the 49ers would do?<\/p>\n Not that your agent is the only recipient of your misguided blame.<\/p>\n How about 49ers general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan, who you have publicly called out for your relationship with the 49ers turning sour over the last year.<\/p>\n The same coach and general manager who rewarded you with a 4-year, $120 million contract extension in 2024. Are we supposed to believe they just turned on a dime?<\/p>\n Make it make sense.<\/p>\n Once considered a rising star, Aiyuk\u2019s NFL career could be over if he doesn\u2019t the help he needs. Getty Images<\/p>\n You keep claiming you\u2019re a grown man, yet you never take any accountability. And then you feign anger and resentment when the 49ers refuse to reward your bad behavior by bending a knee and giving in to your whims.<\/p>\n All the while, blaming anyone and everyone for where things stand.<\/p>\n The truth is, your biggest adversary right now is the dude staring back at you in the mirror.<\/p>\n It\u2019s you, Brandon. You are the problem.<\/p>\n Your pride has blinded you from that truth. Your ego has turned your ears deaf to that reality.<\/p>\n And as you seethe in your disappointment of not getting your way, you continue to lash out at your perceived enemies, as if they are responsible for the series of ill-advised decisions you made that cost you millions of dollars and quite possibly, your career.<\/p>\n 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan is one of the people Aiyuk has targeted of late for ruining his NFL career. Getty Images<\/p>\n The worst part of all?<\/p>\n There is still time to salvage all this. As much as you\u2019ve screwed this up \u2013 you and you alone \u2013 you can still make it right. Or at least create a legitimate chance to.<\/p>\n It will require you to actually listen to people who truly care about you, maybe even get some personal help. It means you taking responsibility for what\u2019s happened, but more importantly, taking positive steps to make it work.<\/p>\n Sit down with Lynch and Shanahan and convince them you are ready to move forward. Seek reinstatement. If it\u2019s granted, report to training camp and show everyone the knee is good to go.<\/p>\n It\u2019s your only chance.<\/p>\n There is still time.<\/p>\n But first, put down the phone, man.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t
