FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) \u2014 Travelers flying out of Fresno Yosemite International Airport will soon be able to park without pulling a ticket, or stopping at a payment kiosk.<\/p>\n
Starting July 14, the airport will launch a contactless parking system through Metropolis. <\/p>\n
The system uses license plate recognition to automatically process payments while drivers enter and exit airport parking lots.<\/p>\n
Travelers can register through the Metropolis app, online or by scanning a QR code at parking lot entrances. Airport officials say cash payments will continue to be accepted through a designated lane, with staff on site to assist travelers and process transactions.<\/p>\n
Airport officials said the upgrade is part of the airport’s ongoing modernization following the completion of the FATforward expansion project. Fresno Yosemite International served a record 2.7 million passengers in 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"FRESNO, Calif.
