(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 Ivan Garza, a 25-year-old former linebacker at Sacramento State and Robert F. Kennedy High School alumnus in Delano, has passed away, according to a statement from Sacramento State football.<\/p>\n<p>Garza graduated from Robert F. Kennedy High School in 2019 and went on to play for the Sacramento State Hornets from 2021 through 2023, following a redshirt season that year and a canceled 2020 season due to COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>The team announced the news on social media on Wednesday but did not disclose a cause of death.
