An opportunity could become available for Kent Hughes on the trade market.<\/p>\n
The Anaheim Ducks are desperately trying to move forward Frank Vatrano<\/a> because of the offer sheet the Philadelphia Flyers submitted to Leo Carlsson<\/a>.<\/p>\n David Pagnotta reported the information, and the Ducks are even willing to pay by attaching a draft pick to whichever team agrees to acquire Vatrano.<\/p>\n “They’re willing to package up a draft pick with Frank Vatrano.”<\/p>\n In other words, Anaheim wants to get out from under his contract.<\/p>\n Enough so that they are willing to add a draft pick to help facilitate the trade.<\/p>\n This is the kind of situation that could interest a team like the Montreal Canadiens.<\/p>\n A veteran player, a former 37-goal scorer, and a potential top-six winger.
