\t\tEditorial Standards \u24d8<\/a><\/p>\n \n\t\t\t\t\t\tA man was arrested following a high-speed car chase Wednesday morning in the North Highlands area of Sacramento County, officials said. Deputies with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office attempted to pull over a vehicle for speeding and multiple traffic violations around 2 a.m. near Watt Avenue and Don Julio Boulevard, the sheriff’s office said. The driver, 57-year-old Kenneth Earl Steinberger, drove away. A chase ensued, reaching speeds over 100 mph on the freeway. Deputies used a tack strip to help bring the chase to an end, the sheriff’s office said. Steinberger was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail, the sheriff’s office said.
