Oakland County Restaurant Quest:\u00a0 Mona Lisa Pizza in Waterford<\/p>\n

Waterford, MI \u2013 Mona Lisa Pizza is a carryout spot located inside the Clintonville Market, which is a neighborhood party store packed with snacks and alcohol choices.<\/p>\n

My Mona Lisa feast started with Greek Pasta. This was a cold pasta dish with chopped veggies and Greek dressing, a classic party store deli dish that Mona Lisa\u2019s does well.<\/p>\n

There were BBQ chicken skewers, delightfully messy, wrapped in foil. The sauce was tangy and there was lots of it, so extra napkins are a must for this appetizer.<\/p>\n

And of course for the main dish I tried one of their specialty pizzas \u2013 the Hawaiian. This is made with diced ham, pineapple, and mozzarella.The dough is a typical hand-tossed style, with plenty of bubbles in the crust, and the cooking made the pineapple slices get just a little bit browned, leaving the juicy sweet bites to contrast with the salt of the ham.<\/p>\n

For dessert, who could go wrong with a slice of chocolate cake with chocolate icing?<\/p>\n

Other specialty pizzas include the Chicken Alfredo, the BBQ Chicken, Meat Lovers, and Supreme.\u00a0 There\u2019s also Chicago-style deep dish available.\u00a0 And of course there are bread sticks for those who can\u2019t get enough of that soft, warm dough. There is even a Twice Baked Potato Pizza topped with mashed potatoes, mozzarella, cheddar, and bacon.<\/p>\n

There are other deli salads as well, including a Classic Fruit Salad, Seafood Salad, and Chef Salad.<\/p>\n

Mona Lisa Pizza also serves up Entertaining Trays of their popular items like Lasagna, Chicken Alfredo, and Mostaccioli.<\/p>\n
