A registered sex offender was charged Thursday with sexually assaulting a boy and girl in Orange County.<\/p>\n
Tyler Michael Walker was charged with three counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14, possession of child pornography with a prior conviction and two counts of using an underage person for obscene matter, all felonies.<\/p>\n
Walker was scheduled to be arraigned July 30 in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana. Walker pleaded guilty in May 2019 to a felony count of possessing child pornography and was sentenced to 67 days in jail and placed on five years of formal probation.<\/p>\n
His probation was revoked in August 2019, according to court records. He ran into trouble with the law again in May 2021 when two children ages 7 and 9 told their father Walker had exposed himself to them in Irvine, according to a petition to revoke his probation filed then.<\/p>\n
When Irvine police found he had an electronic tablet the officers asked for access to it and he refused, which violated the terms of his probation, according to court records.<\/p>\n
