Two area police departments cooperated in the arrest of three suspects in a stolen vehicle in Cypress recently.<\/p>\n

According to the City of Cypress\u2019 police department, two night shift officers attempted to s<\/p>\n

top a Mercedes automobile displaying license plates from a car reported stolen near the Home Depot store on Lincoln Avenue.
The vehicle was initially pulled over, but then sped away as officers approached.<\/p>\n

A brief pursuit ended on a dead-end road and the Mercedes crashed through a fence behind a nearby business, disabling the vehicle.<\/p>\n

As officers moved in, three female suspects \u201cbailed out\u201d and ran, trying to escape by climbing over a tall barbed wire fence. Two were quickly taken into custody, while the third tried to elude officers by hiding under a nearby truck.<\/p>\n

With the help of the Huntington Beach Police Department\u2019s helicopter \u2013\u00a0HB 1 \u2013 she was located and arrested.<\/p>\n

The Mercedes was confirmed to have been stolen and all three suspects were booked into Orange County Jail on charges including possession of a stolen vehicle, felony evading and resisting arrest.<\/p>\n
