(WINK) \u2014\u00a0A Charlotte County woman accused of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, who then went into hiding, has been arrested in California.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Cameron Hope Shirley was apprehended thanks to an anonymous Crime Stoppers tip. She had been featured on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winknews.com\/search\/?f=html&amp;t=article%2Ccollection%2Cvideo%2Cyoutube&amp;s=start_time&amp;sd=desc&amp;l=25&amp;nsa=eedition&amp;q=Southwest+Florida+Crime+Stoppers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers<\/a> 10 Most Wanted list.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to detectives, Shirley was hired as a staff member at a halfway home for juveniles in Charlotte County. Despite being in a position of authority, she violated the trust of at least one young person and engaged in sexual activity with them.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Once she realized police were investigating her for her alleged actions, she quit her job and went into hiding. Shirley&#8217;s family was less than helpful with investigators, prompting Crime Stoppers to ask for the public&#8217;s help.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Shirley has ties to both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winknews.com\/search\/?f=html&amp;t=article%2Ccollection%2Cvideo%2Cyoutube&amp;s=start_time&amp;sd=desc&amp;l=25&amp;nsa=eedition&amp;q=Charlotte+County+Sheriff%27s+Office\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Charlotte<\/a> and Sarasota counties and could have been using an alias to avoid arrest.
