Going to the OC Fair<\/a>? Well, consider this: It costs $15 for general parking at the fairgrounds, and unless you\u2019re lucky, you\u2019re going to have a hike ahead of you when you arrive. And that\u2019s after you fight traffic to get in there.<\/p>\n

What if there were another option? Well, there is. On Saturdays and Sundays, you can ride the air-conditioned OC Fair<\/a> Express bus for only $2 per adult \u2014 and it\u2019s free for kids age 18 and under. That sounds pretty good, right?<\/p>\n

And the direct bus drops you off right outside the Yellow Gate entrance, so you\u2019re not making any long treks to get there. The buses run every half hour from six different locations, where you can park for free before boarding. Some of the buses even have Wi-Fi. Not bad, right?\u00a0 Check the schedule for each location, but these buses generally leave in time to get to the fairgrounds around opening and the last departure is around closing time.<\/p>\n

The buses are run by OCTA<\/a>, so if you already have a WAVE payment card<\/a> or the mobile app, you can use it. Bus drivers also accept cash in exact change. You can bring your food and drinks for later on board, but you can\u2019t consume them on the bus.<\/p>\n
