Two people told police they were being shot at by two men near Beechwood and San Pablo avenues in north Fresno on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.<\/p>\n

Officers on Tuesday morning investigated a reported shooting in a north Fresno neighborhood off Herndon Avenue.<\/p>\n

Fresno police spokesperson Lt. Larry Bowlan said officers responded to a call of shots being fired near San Pablo and Herndon avenues around 6:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

Two people walking in the neighborhood said they believed they were being shot at, Bowlan said.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported, and officers had not found any residences or vehicles that were struck.<\/p>\n

Bowlan said police are investigating to see if the people, reportedly men, were actually firing at the two people walking.<\/p>\n

Officers are canvassing the area for witnesses and security footage.<\/p>\n
