Now in its 18th year, Sunday Streets comes to different neighborhoods on just a few select dates from June through October. This month, people are gearing up for an unforgettable celebration in the Mission on July 19, but make sure you save the dates for the next events in the Bayview on August 23rd and the Excelsior on October 18th.<\/p>\n
This Sunday, attendees can stroll a mile-long stretch of Valencia Street between 14th to 24th, exploring a total of 92 local exhibitors and vendors ranging from indie artisans and small businesses to health organizations and neighborhood nonprofits. Expect interactive activities, community resource fairs, and plenty of chances to shop local and discover Mission-based brands. <\/p>\n
Live entertainment includes ABAD\u00c1-Capoeira SF, the African-American Shakespeare Company, Comunidad Cumbia, and Fat Chance Belly Dance, bringing music, movement, and culture to the street.<\/p>\n
Look out for special programming curated by Mission Housing and the American Indian Cultural Center, including a resource fair and a Native Marketplace highlighting Indigenous artists, makers, and small businesses. <\/p>\n
