Video showed the boat fully sinking underwater.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"hsDdd NDJZt sJeUN IJwXl vBqtr KrDt itslR zFTjo hakZw HlUVI \" data-testid=\"prism-image\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/19509163_071426-kgo-overturned-boat-2-img.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Fire officials confirmed 16 other people have been rescued from the water. Nineteen total people were on board the boat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">An ABC7 Eyewitness News photographer on scene confirms at least one person was killed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">One dog aboard the vessel also died.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The fire department says that they received a call after 3:30 p.m. PT for a boat on fire. It was a pontoon-type boat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie called the ongoing operation an &#8220;all-hands-on-deck&#8221; search and rescue mission.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Officials say 11 vessels are currently searching for the two missing.
