<\/p>\nLong Beach once again delivered world-class racing conditions Tuesday as sunshine, steady afternoon sea breezes and flat-water conditions challenged more than 100 of the world\u2019s top Olympic windsurfers and kiteboarders competing in the 2026 Long Beach Olympic Classes Regatta (LBOCR). As the final stop of the 2026 Sailing Grand Slam, the regatta has attracted an elite international field eager to measure themselves against the world\u2019s best while gaining invaluable experience on the future LA28 Olympic racecourse.<\/p>\n
\u201cToday\u2019s racing showcased Southern California at its finest, with steady afternoon sea breezes providing the perfect test of the athletes\u2019 resilience, tactical decision-making and boat-handling skills,\u201d said Fred Hagedorn, USA Director of the Sailing Grand Slam.<\/p>\n

Racing resumes Wednesday with the first warning signal scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Spectators are invited to watch free of charge from the beaches along Belmont Shore and the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier, where fans can enjoy an up-close view of Olympic-class racing.<\/p>\n
