(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 No arrests have been made after a vehicle plunges into the canal in southeast Bakersfield Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>The Bakersfield Police Department said on Tuesday night, officers, the fire department, and search and rescue responded to a report of a car that struck a fence and went into the canal near Madison Street and New Zealand Drive.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the single occupant of the vehicle left.<\/p>\n<p>No other vehicles were involved.<\/p>\n<p>Police said as of Tuesday night, no arrests were made.<\/p>\n<p>Eyewitness News obtained surveillance video showing the red vehicle hitting the fence and plunging into the canal.<\/p>\n<p>A second video provided showed two individuals walking away from the area.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"No arrests have been made after a vehicle plunges into the canal in southeast Bakersfield Tuesday night.
