(KFSN) &#8212; A new mural is coming to Fresno, and the Fresno Arts Council is calling for local artists.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">District 3 Councilmember Miguel Arias and the FAC are working together to select one or more artists to paint a mural at Tupman Park.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The proposed concepts and designs should reflect the diversity and unity of the neighborhood community through a vibrant and colorful composition<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The mural dimensions are 85 ft. x 6 ft. and the budget for this project is $33,150.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">This project is open to experienced artists from California who are 18 years of age or older.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Artists are encouraged to incorporate imagery inspired by local agriculture, wildlife, and themes of belonging, family, and play.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">The entry deadline is Friday, August 14, by midnight on <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/fresnoartscouncil.submittable.com\/submit\/b3af7fc7-c2a1-4296-93b4-32ba99a54b20\/call-to-artists-tupman-park-mural-project\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Submittable<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KFSN-TV.
