A California family allegedly walked out on their $500 tab at a popular seafood restaurant<\/a> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Surveillance footage from the Captain Crab in Sacramento showed the family of six quickly exiting allegedly without paying<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A manager at the seafood joint, Brandy, confirmed the dine-and-dash<\/a> and they\u2019re in the process of referring them to the police.<\/p>\n

She said the store deals with food-stealers around \u201cthree-four times\u201d a month, and offenders are usually larger parties.<\/p>\n

Captain Crab has been trying to \u201calleviate\u201d the issue \u201cas much as possible,\u201d but the latest offense made them go public.<\/p>\n

\u201cY\u2019all know I have money to pay for that s\u2013t,\u201d she said. \u201cI just be doing s\u2013t. Y\u2019all mad because you b\u2014hes ain\u2019t me.\u201d Instagram\/captaincrabsac<\/p>\n

The business shared a video where an alleged offender with the Instagram username datgurl_nanabee is heard bragging about the alleged crime and that she didn\u2019t do it out of necessity because \u201canybody who knows me know I stay with money.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cY\u2019all know I have money to pay for that s\u2013t,\u201d she said. \u201cI just be doing s\u2013t. Y\u2019all mad because you b\u2014hes ain\u2019t me.\u201d She then admits to the crime anyway.<\/p>\n

The chain has locations in Sacramento, Clovis, Elk Grove, and Stockton.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear if anyone in the family has been charged with a crime. A dining and dashing charge, known as \u201cdefrauding an innkeeper\u201d in California, would likely be a misdemeanor offense if the value was under $950, according to legal experts.<\/a><\/p>\n
