FRESNO, CA (KMJ) \u2013 Fresno County Supervisor Garry Bredefeld spoke to KMJ to comment on the attention locally and nationally for a video in which he\u2019s starring.<\/p>\n

The video features\u00a0Bredefeld firing weapons<\/a>, riding in an armored vehicle, a helicopter, and a boat to promote September\u2019s \u201cState of the County\u201d event.<\/p>\n

Bredefeld told KMJ\u2019s News Partner ABC 30 the video was paid for entirely by the Fresno Chamber of Commerce and that no overtime was used by the Fresno County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Supervisor Bredefeld spoke to KMJ\u2019s Broeske and Musson Show on Friday morning.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Fresno Chamber of Commerce issued a statement responding to concerns over Bredefeld\u2019s appearance and the tone, saying the video is a small part of the upcoming Fresno County luncheon, and the event is designed to honor first responders and local workers, rather than promote any single political official.<\/p>\n

The luncheon is scheduled for Sept. 24.<\/p>\n
