Fresno County\u2019s 2026 assessment roll reached a record $129.01 billion in net taxable property value, reflecting continued growth in the county\u2019s tax base. The annual roll determines the taxable value of real, business and personal property and serves as the basis for property tax bills that help fund schools, public safety, public health and other local government services.<\/p>\n

Fresno County\u2019s net taxable property value reached a record, reflecting the total taxable value of all real, business and personal property as of the Jan. 1 lien date.<\/p>\n

The assessment roll increased by $5.71 billion from last year, a 4.63% year-over-year gain.<\/p>\n

The county\u2019s assessment roll now includes 323,727 parcels, up from 322,348 parcels a year ago.<\/p>\n

Under Proposition 13, most property owners will see their assessed value increase by no more than the annual inflation adjustment, which is capped at 2%, unless a property changes ownership or undergoes new construction.<\/p>\n

Kerman posted the county\u2019s largest year-over-year increase in assessed value among incorporated cities at 7.68%, followed by Parlier (6.76%), Mendota (6.47%), Fowler (5.79%), Coalinga (5.56%), Clovis (5.1%) and Fresno (4.99%).<\/p>\n

Single-family residential properties represent the largest share of Fresno County\u2019s assessment roll, accounting for more than $70.6 billion in assessed value.<\/p>\n
