{"id":402983,"date":"2026-07-18T01:48:10","date_gmt":"2026-07-18T01:48:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/402983\/"},"modified":"2026-07-18T01:48:10","modified_gmt":"2026-07-18T01:48:10","slug":"oc-fair-opens-in-costa-mesa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/402983\/","title":{"rendered":"OC Fair opens in Costa Mesa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/ocfair.com\/oc-fair\/admission?utm_source=paid-search&amp;utm_medium=SEM&amp;utm_campaign=OCFair26&amp;gad_source=1&amp;gad_campaignid=21366420618&amp;gbraid=0AAAAAqxcgTCmLkEr7oSX6TBP90vHE_yX2&amp;gclid=CjwKCAjwpefSBhBvEiwAzyEtZ6z7iWYIx8SIQwJoGvUvolSwm8U_RYrFmCdccYWyeMAVVK9BUtjGqhoCVeoQAvD_BwE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> 2026 OC Fair <\/a>opened on Friday, and fairgoers can experience all the fair has to offer for the next 23 days, until Aug. 16.<\/p>\n<p>For soccer fans who don&#8217;t want to miss the 2026 FIFA Men&#8217;s World Cup finals, huge screens will be set up in four locations this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Carnival<\/p>\n<p>There are over <a href=\"https:\/\/ocfair.com\/oc-fair\/things-to-do\/carnival\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">50 rides and 30 games to enjoy<\/a>, with plenty of kid-friendly rides like the Balloon Ride and Big Wheel Ferris wheel, and the Goliath Slide.<\/p>\n<p>Food<\/p>\n<p>From savory eats to everything fried and sweet treats, there are <a href=\"https:\/\/ocfair.com\/oc-fair\/things-to-do\/food\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">more than 100 food vendors <\/a>serving up fair food, and for a chance to try a little of everything, the Taste of the Fair promotion offers samplings for $5 at participating booths.<\/p>\n<p>Entertainment<\/p>\n<p>Musical performances, including Trevor Noah, Nelly, Midland, and more, take place at the <a href=\"https:\/\/pacamp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Pacific Amphitheater<\/a>, while\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ocfair.com\/oc-fair\/entertainment\/the-hangar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">The Hangar<\/a>\u00a0features tribute acts such as Twisted Gypsy, Yachty By Nature, and Swift Nation, a Taylor Swift sing-along tribute.<\/p>\n<p>Concert tickets include same-day access to the fair.<\/p>\n<p>Monster trucks, demolition derbies, and the Nerveless Nocks Daredevil Circus are bringing the adrenaline, stunts, huge tires, and gigantic thrills to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ocfair.com\/oc-fair\/entertainment\/action-sports-arena\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Action Sports Aren<\/a>a.<\/p>\n<p>Animals<\/p>\n<p>Various 4-H and FFA livestock competitions and animal exhibits will be on display in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ocfair.com\/oc-fair\/things-to-do\/animals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Livestock Area<\/a> near Yellow Gate.
