Two people were taken to the hospital Friday evening after a fight in the Folsom Historic District.<\/p>\n

The Folsom Police Department received several calls around 8:30 p.m. for a fight on Sutter Street, according to Sgt. John Triplett, which is the main corridor for the eastern suburb\u2019s entertainment hub \u2014 home to stores, restaurants and bars.<\/p>\n

One suspect, who was not identified by police, was arrested and booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail on suspicion of battery causing serious bodily harm, Triplett said.<\/p>\n

Under California law, conviction on such a charge typically carries<\/a> up to a year in county jail.<\/p>\n
