A Sausalito resident was injured Friday in a fire at a hillside home, the Southern Marin Fire District reported.

The fire happened at about 5:20 a.m. on Wray Avenue. The fire burned on the top floor of a three-level downslope residence, the district said.

Firefighters removed one resident from the home. Southern Marin Fire District paramedics treated the resident there before taking the patient to a hospital. Other residents got out of the home without injuries.

Firefighters had the flames under control by about 5:33 a.m., containing the fire to the area it started, the district said. Battalion Chief Adam Vollmer said the fire started in a wall under a kitchen counter.

The cause is under investigation.

A Sausalito resident was injured Friday in a fire at a hillside home, the Southern Marin Fire District…

[30
7,181,23,992,100,180,993,266,101,103,102,3624,104,106,105,18946
post-403664","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-san-francisco","tag-california","tag-latest-headlines","tag-local-news","tag-marin-county","tag-news","tag-newsletter","tag-north-bay","tag-northern-california","tag-san-francisco","tag-san-francisco-headlines","tag-san-francisco-news","tag-sausalito","tag-sf","tag-sf-headlines","tag-sf-news","tag-southern-marin-fire
["GET
