(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 A 34-year-old man <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/four-wounded-including-minor-in-shooting-on-decatur-street-ksco-investigating-oildale-deputies-crime-california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">accused of shooting four people, including a minor, in Oildale in early July<\/a> has pleaded not guilty to a weapon charge, according to court records.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler Boyer was arraigned Wednesday and entered a not guilty plea to discharging a firearm in the commission of a specified felony, causing great bodily injury and\/or death.<\/p>\n<p>Kern County sheriff\u2019s deputies were called to the 200 block of Decatur Street on Sunday, July 5, at around 1:40 a.m. Four victims were taken to a hospital and were expected to survive.<\/p>\n<p>Boyer was initially charged with attempted murder. That charge no longer appears on the Kern County court website.<\/p>\n<p>Boyer is scheduled to return to court next week for a bail review.<a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/oildale-shooting-suspects-court-apperance-pushed-to-thursday-after-medical-delay-crime-court-decatur-street-bakersfield-california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> His latest court appearance last week was delayed for a medical reason<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>A preliminary hearing is set for late September.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
