River on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The fall was reported at 1:24 p.m. Saturday at 2750 E. Washington Blvd., east of Soto Street, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jamie Stewart.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">&#8220;LAFD Air Operations is performing a hoisting operation and will be transporting the patient for further medical care at a local hospital,&#8221; Stewart said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Video from the Citizen App shows LAFD Air Operations hoisting the woman up to a helicopter for transport to a nearby hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Paramedics were lowered down to the patient to evaluate her condition before transport, he said. LAFD noted that the woman was not in the water when they rescued her.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The Los Angeles Police Department and Department of Transportation were summoned for traffic control, Stewart said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The woman&#8217;s condition was not immediately available.
