The Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a>\u00a0are set for a doubleheader against the New York Yankees<\/a> on Sunday after Saturday\u2019s game was postponed.<\/p>\n The schedule change forced Dodgers manager Dave Roberts to adjust his pitching plans. Yoshinobu Yamamoto<\/a> will start the opener against Cam Schlittler<\/a>, while the Dodgers will turn to a bullpen game in the second matchup.<\/p>\n Shohei Ohtani<\/a> will bat leadoff as the designated hitter, but the Dodgers revealed an unfortunate update regarding his expected return to the mound next week against the Philadelphia Phillies<\/a>.<\/p>\n Dodgers Announce Ohtani News<\/p>\n Before Sunday\u2019s doubleheader, Roberts announced that he is pushing Ohtani\u2019s scheduled start against the Phillies to allow him more time to recover from the knee issue that required treatment during the All-Star break.<\/p>\n According to Roberts, Ohtani\u2019s knee still isn\u2019t responding well when he plays catch.
