A pancake fundraiser was held on Wednesday for the family of 15-year-old Kane Roldan<\/a>, one of the two teenagers shot and killed at a Halloween party<\/a> in Chula Vista last week.<\/p>\n

Patty Garcia says her mini pancakes are \u201cmade with a lot of love.\u201d She was spreading\u00a0the love on Wednesday night by donating a dollar of each sale\u00a0to Kane’s family.<\/p>\n

Kane and his 17-year-old best friend Elias Yanez<\/a> were killed at a party in Chula Vista on Halloween night.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe moms, you know, going through so much pain and still having to worry about funds to bury their loved ones, being able to help them, I just jumped on it,” Garcia said.<\/p>\n

Garcia gathered some of her business friends at Azteca Lemonades to take part in the fundraiser for Kane’s family at Cesar Solis Park in Chula Vista.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe family of Kane Roldan are remembering him after he was killed at a Halloween Party in Chula Vista on Halloween night, reports NBC 7’s Kelvin Henry.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

The memory of that deadly night hit close to home for Garcia, who says she couldn\u2019t stop hugging her son. That\u2019s because she says her son was classmates with Kane at Montgomery High and asked to go to the party.<\/p>\n

“My son was actually invited to that party, and we said no,” Garcia said. “It’s just been very emotional, you know, thinking, just thinking a lot of things and just pretty sad.”<\/p>\n
